Our

story

Hello. We are so glad you are here.  We are Sarah and Faith, friends and nurses, who care deeply for each other and those around us.  We have over 40 years combined experience in nursing and as much as we love the health professions and all it does, we felt led to care for the community in a different way.

Because 80% of healthcare happens outside of the healthcare walls, we knew we had to find a way to bring health to the people in the communities where they live, work and play. We drilled down to our core principals, expertise in the field, and life experience to develop a thoughtful, strategic, and impactful approach to make the biggest impact possible:

Work within communities

Balance eastern and western medicine

Focus on root causes of health

Treat the whole person

Utilize a strengths-based, human-centered approach

The disparities in health are unnecessary and 100% preventable.  We refuse to believe things cannot be different.  We have a dream to change the trajectory of American healthcare and health culture. We have the audacity to believe that by creating partnerships and focusing on a common goal we can do just that.

We know we cannot change health inequity alone. There are community-based organizations (CBO) doing incredible and important work. Instead of creating a new community-based organization, we decided to come alongside CBO’s and utilize their existing power to impact the health of communities on a broader scale. We know together we can change the health of our communities and help them live longer and fuller lives.

By partnering, learning and growing together we know we can be the generation to move from health inequity to all human flourishing. We wholeheartedly believe what Margaret Mead said holds true...

Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.”

We look forward to partnering with you!
